Some may not agree with today's toon - but the way I see it - the Dems and Repubs are lobbing softballs and marshmellows with the resolution.

There are several versions of the resolution, and the hang up seems to be in the wording - they are trying to "soften" the language so as not to hurt bush's feelings.

Hillary Clinton recently stated that the resolution would probably be ignored by bush if there is insufficient support.

NO SH*T - he ignores everything, and what he can't ignore he "deletes" with a signing statement.

We voted for change in November, and despite the rhetoric all I'm seeing is more of the same.

Congress is the FIRST branch of government - not bush.

You want his attention? Then scrap the resolution and go straight to impeachment - lord knows there's enough crap out there to impeach bush and cheney from now until the rapture

2. Put it on a PLATE and then put it on the TABLE

Step 1: Get a paperplate

Step 2: Write your message on it (see sample below)

Step 3: Fold it up and put it in an envelope (just going to cost one 1st class stamp)

Step 4: Mail it to your senator/rep and Pelosi/Reid

It seems like they are just wasting time while Bushco just goes on to bigger & 'better' atrocities.
