Have you seen this suspicious package?
Not just the phony ones yesterday in Boston, but ever since bush 'took' office and let nine eleven happen without warning us, there has been a plethora of suspicious package reports almost weekly, as common as Osama videos once were.
The great thing about suspicious packages is, they are a cheap but very effective way to keep the terror ramped up and always in your mind. Look, over there, it's an unattended, suspicious package! Run away!
Bad thing is though, it's not funny, and it starts to take on a boy who cried wolf feel. Yesterday's suspicious package hoax dominated the t.v. news for most of the day, and the media absolutely loves this, as do hogwash cheney and his ape.
I'd estimate that there have been about 200 suspicious package alerts since nine eleven, and the gorgeous news readers always breathlessly remind us that we are indeed living in the post nine eleven world, and we long for those halcyon days of tranquility and peace of mind in the pre nine eleven world.
I suggest we print up a bunch of bright orange stick-on signs that say, 'NOT a Suspicious Package' to put on all of our boxes and luggage left unattended for more than a few minutes. It'll save everyone a lot of grief.
