dollars.

Annual profits, for 2006. (Thanks, themartyred.)

Our local anchor, Gary Shapiro was pretty indignant and his co anchor was a bit shocked at his reaction ( he said,"must be a good time to be in the oil industry" and something a bit cynical I didn't quite catch. Kyle Dyer, his co anchor gasped,"Gary!" and he said, "it's the truth" Then they went to commercial)

I'm getting a t shirt with the words "Follow the Money" this weekend. And, it's all blood money. MKJ

4. Here is a link to the story:

It would have been higher if the poor babies didn't have such a "sluggish" 4th quarter.

6. Dang, I'm jealous!
Your local news actually carried news! My local news carries clips from network TV shows, shootings and other terra-related bits, and lots of commercials. Oh. and don't forget NewsChopper 5, showing rush-hour traffic going slow. News there, I tell ya. :sarcasm:

12. It's a REALLY good local station. They busted Beauprez using his buddy to access
a secure law enforcement site for use in his campaign commercials.

The good guys for sure, although we get plenty of weather and traffic, too. MKJ

Certainly not the stockholders or the administration that Big Oil bought.

14. How about donating half that amount to veterans' healthcare?
They lost their limbs (and minds) for your bottom line.

18. But hey Freeps, Iraq wasn't about Oil, was it?
 I thought your chimp president promised lower prices at the pump and that the Iraq war would pay for itself through oil revenues? You have been had! I know y'all don't care about all the innocent Iraqi lives lost and you barely care about the U.S. troops lost, but what about those obscene profit for EXXon? Does that even piss you off, just a little? :silly:
