what this country needs, more than anything, is . . .
a strong, powerful, widespread populist movement that fights for the rights of "We, the People" and works to reign in the unconscionable corporate excesses (including profits) that are so rampant . . .

just something I've been pondering of late . . .

1. It would be good if they shared the excess profits....
with the workers giving higher wages and benefits.

2. I've been saying this for several years now.
AND we need a populist candidate to carry that message to the people.

3. Speaking of corporate excesses,
I'm currently reading Unequal Protection-The Rise Of Corporate Dominance And The Theft Of Human Rights, by Thom Hartmann. What an eye-opener. How corporations began and how few rights they originally had. Slowly building up their rights and lack of responsibilities to the present day, where the outrageous has become the everyday. Amazing....

4. Does this look like a possibility?

We The People Foundation
For Constitutional Education

Civic Education,
Legal Advocacy,
& Constitutional Activism
in Defense of Our Constitutions

The We The People Foundation is committed to educating Americans
about their Fundamental Rights and the history, meaning and power of the Constitution, and the essential Principles of Liberty.

Where our servant governments have abused the limited authorities that the People have delegated, the Foundation confronts and holds these governments accountable to the federal and state written Constitutions.

There are probably a few more organizations out there that work in that area - but sadly, people today most times can not find the time to volunteer or organize. I'm stretched so thin between work and family, mostly all I can do at this juncture is online petitions and the like.
