Bush Administration "Postpones" Publishing EVIDENCE of Iranian Interference in Iraq
surprised?

Take your quarrels elsewhere, Bush told

Bob Deans in Washington
February 2, 2007

THE Iraqi Prime Minister, Nuri al-Maliki, has told the United States and Iran to take their quarrels elsewhere, saying he will not permit his country to be caught in the crossfire.

"Solve your problems outside of Iraq. We do not want the American forces to take Iraq as a field to attack Iran or Syria, and we will not accept Iran to use Iraq to attack the American forces," Mr Maliki told CNN.

The US Under Secretary of State, Nicholas Burns, sent another warning to Iran against interfering in Iraq, saying US officials had "picked up individuals who we believe are giving very sophisticated explosives technology to Shia insurgent groups who then use that technology to target and kill American soldiers".

However, the Bush Administration has postponed plans to publish a "dossier" of Iranian interference in Iraq, with some officials divided over the strength of the US evidence.

2. There is no evidence. If they had hard evidence, it would have been produced.
And even if they have evidence, so what.

You thought Iran would stand by and let you destabilize the region?

Iran hasn't traversed the globe to invade other countries like the US has

From back in the day .... taking microbiology classes ..... you need 100% clean

"The Lab" turned out to be for weather balloons but that did not stop bush and
Cheney from continuing to spread the lie.

1.5 years for Cheney to quit spreading this lie.

This was supposed to be a smoking gun? The whole damn thing

51. That's why the people who say the Bush Admin. "got bad intel" just kill me.
Even if you ignore the countless stories of beauracrats, intelligence officers, etc. that specifically told them their claims were unsubstantiated prior to the invasion, the Bush team was repeating claims like this "mobile lab" nonsense long after they'd been publicly proven false.

It's all the same behavior. One long, uninterrupted lie.

33. IRAN IRAN IRAN, the problem is IRAN as Limbotomy says.
And the media repeats these lies in a unanimous chorus, implicitly assuming that Iraq's neighbor should have no influence there, whereas the country that invaded Iraq in the first place has no guilt.
Maybe soon it will be Russia that is meddling in Iran and we'll hear Russia Russia Russia, the problem is Russia.

digging their heels in? Being ground up silently like last time, perhaps threatened and fired and no one else is blocking the clear path to another war crime.

Perhaps the Senate could intervene THIS time and question intelligence officials now to short circuit the cooking of the pretext to war- again again- and give support to whomever might be still trying to do their duty in there. They should get involved here so we don't have to sit back and watch helplessly what happens over "there".

Albright:

"The President's current policy should be viewed less as a serious plan than as a prayer. It is not about reality. It is about hope. And hope is not a strategy."

She said it would be a disaster for US troops to stay.
<snip>

Faith based foreign policy? :wtf: I guess Bush thinks that since he was chosen by god to rule this country that god will personally guarantee the success of any half-assed "plan" he puts forward. News flash, moron, god hasn't been behind you one iota so far, what makes you think the invisible cloud being is suddenly going to join you in your crusade to dominate the middle east? Lies and fabrications have cost America 27000 dead and wounded to date - with incalculable stress and hardship on hundreds of thousands of other soldiers and their families yet to fully manifest itself - to say nothing of the 400+ billion of treasure NOT being spent to fix the myriad of problems existing in this country.

Has America learned not to trust these people and finally say NO???
