Biden gave up all his hopes and dreams over one state. One state that does not even have a straight vote.
Personally I think what happened in Iowa was a wake up call to Hillary. Before, she would be out on the campaign trail barking off one promise after another. She got beat. I think her little breakdown was a wake up call to her. She knows why she wants to be President - because she cares so much about this country. Before, she wasn't selling voters on her passion to make America better, she was trying to sell them on promises. Last nite she told NH that they helped her find her voice. I believe they did. That's why she won. imho.
Biden really wasn't that different. It was all Iraq, all the time. That boulder in the road. He is right, it is a huge boulder. We knew the softer side of Biden. We love the man and made it our business to find out all that we could about Biden. But the average voter didn't see that from him. The passion he showed Americans was on foreign affairs. And how badly he wanted to debate Rudy.
Why am I angry? Because this morning I am thinking that if he would have waited it out, he would have seen what have happened. And maybe he would have opened up his heart more to the voters, instead of being such a foreign policy wonk. More people would have seen the same man that we saw. And they would have loved him as we do. People don't love Hillary, the amount of baggage she carries is huge. For people that want experience in a candidate, Biden could've/should've been that person. If he only waited.
