I had to put a Biden supporter on ignore
What a shame.

Yesterday this person started at LEAST 4-5 partisan threads. I warned the poster that Joe would not be pleased, but that didn't matter, so I alerted the mods and hit the ignore use button.

It's sad when we we have to marginalize one of our own. If this person was really a Bidenite in the first place? No profile, less that 1000 posts, makes me wonder. I don't trust many people here anymore.

1. I always tend to think we're all of the same mind set, more or less, because of
our shared INTELLIGENCE and WISDOM of realizing what a special person Joe is. PLUS we didn't fall into that crap.

There are plenty of people here to trust, though, so don't give up. I've found some of these people to be absolutely wonderful.

I'm sorry that happened to you. I may have not seen who you're referring to because I usually don't open threads with candidates' names.

for awhile. And they are usually found in GD Primaries

I know the people in JBSG are good folks, you guys I trust. GD Primaries is a septic tank these days.

3. It's a shame
because one of the things we love about Joe is his tolerance of people, even if they disagree with him. It is that quality as much as any other that make me trust and believe in him. It's why many republicans respect him. I don't have 1000 posts and I don't think I will for quite some time. I hope its the quality of people's posts that we're looking at and not just the number. I haven't spent much time in GD:P, but I'm guessing that there are a lot 1000+ posters who are just as divisive.

5. People seem to only attack the number of posts if they disagree with the
poster. Number of posts has NOTHING to do with quality and substance. :7

6. I look for a combination of tone and quantity
People who are new and legit are less likely to start off with a big bang. They are generally still getting acclimated. I tend to be very suspicious of people whose posts start out with a confrontational tone.

4. I think I know who you're talking about
A rather annoying person and hard to believe he was a Biden supporter.

7. I haven't put anyone on ignore - yet.
There's a couple of posters that really, really, really get my blood boiling.

I just walk away.

It's hard now as we are all divided.

You probably want to put me on ignore too. I have strong feelings about this race, which
surprises even me. :P

8. I haven't either
and its never dawned on me to do so. I usually can control my impulse to respond and I have years of experience at "ignoring" jerks!

11. Gotcha.
I'm always surprised when a TRUE Bidenite (like all of us) is actually able to work up passion about another candidate, so maybe this person wasn't really "one of us".

12. That's what I am thinking.
BUT this person was smart buying a donor star, to get into JBSG -- and then we "bought" the crapola they posted as legit. After a few dozen threads though, I realized he/she was probably a troll.

10. Actually, I did put one on ignore last night.
This is someone that drove me crazy when I was actively promoting Biden.

She always attacks me, rather than my message.
No thanks.

13. Come on 48percenter, I have less than 1000 posts too

I still think Joe would be the best candidate...I even sent him some hard-earned cash, but I have chosen another candidate. I was planning on voting for Joe, but my daughter pointed out that I would be wasting my vote. There's one of the major candidates that I like better.

I still love Joe and am looking to him chairing committees in the future.

15. You are not the kind of person I am talking about
the Bidenite I put on ignore was a noob, and was starting obnoxious threads meant to create animosity between Hillary and Obama camps. I know that not everyone on here has a gazillion posts.

:hi:

14. We ran off ITB
as well as a few others... I have discovered more than my share of trolls. I am not as fired up for any left standing, As i was for Joe. I have my favs about both remaining Dems

Currently I am tracking the opposition.
Insofar as romney... WHEW!!! except for the obvous move to suspend his campain. he said quit but i see it as a suspension. He will make a speach at the convention to try to steal the nom... thats a long shot at best.

Huckabee is nuts with that "its easier to change the constitution than the bible" thing Fucking scary.
most of my repube friends agree he should never be let near the oval office.

Mcain is the best bet to divide the rethugs...
