Sen. Joe Biden has hired his former presidential campaign manager to work in his Senate office.

The Delaware Democrat announced Thursday that Luis Navarro will be his new chief of staff.

Before joining Biden’s campaign, Navarro served as the Florida Democratic Party’s executive director. Earlier, he also worked for the Service Employees International Union and the John Kerry presidential campaign.

Biden also hired his Iowa and traveling press secretary for the campaign, Annie Tomasini. She joined his Senate office as a press secretary.

1. I liked Navarro -- not familiar with Tomasini (although I had a nun by that

name as a teacher once).

Wonder what happened to his sitting chief of staff and press secretary. :shrug:

3. Annie is an absolute gem!

I swear she never slept, just worked 24/7! She moved to Iowa in August renting a condo w/Missy Owens - (it's where JRB and family would stay when they came to the state.)

I think Danny O'Brien now runs JRB's PAC.

My Biden boys still keep in touch so I get to hear what is going on with the clan. I'm still holding out on JRB being asked to be VP so we can see him in Iowa at least one more time before November!

Or was that a while back that he was in FL?
