Hillary is only 9.4% and Obama 5.6%

1. If Al Gore ran, I would be very happy.

I would finally have a #2 candidate.

3. My gut tells me it would be a bad idea

and I can't clearly explain why. Al Gore is an extraordinary person, but he wasn't a very good candidate. Even he admitted he wasn't very good at politics. Also I'm afraid that many people are stuck in the past and their desire for Gore to run is based on their need for justice because the presidency was stolen from Gore. I understand that, but don't think that should be a factor in choosing a candidate in this election.

Meanwhile, many candidates have been putting their heart and soul into this race and it wouldn't be fair for Gore to jump in now.

4. If it meant that Gore won the nomination

and kept Hillary out of the WH, than it would be worth everything to me.

If having Gore meant keeping Biden out of the WH - that would be awful, the worst.

But, the way I feel about Hillary - I would be willing to take that chance.

2. I gave some serious thought to this - I think Gore would be an exceptional

president, but my gut feeling is Biden would be the best.

I'm hoping that the next Prez will get behind Gore and help the US become a force in healing the environment. I know Joe takes it very seriously.
