I just got back from some canvassing in the neighborhood.

I was talking to this one guy who said he thought Obama lacked the experience to be President, said he worked in DC for a long time, and knew how tough it was to learn the ropes. I asked him if he knew who Obama had chosen for his running mate. When he said no, I told him Biden, his eyebrows went way up, and he said that was a good choice. He still claimed it wouldn't make a difference for him, but it's still early.

Another McSame leaner said with Biden on the ticket, he was definitely going to take another look, and he might just change his mind.

One lady said her problem with Biden was the plagiarism thingy. I was so proud to be able to straighten her out on this issue. She said hmmmmm...I didn't know that it was just a one time thing. And I'm still smiling, but thinking...you have problems with this one little goof, and you don't have a problem with all the outright lies and delusional fabrications McSame has come up with....jeeesh!

Anyway...I think Biden is just the ticket to swing many voters. WoooHoooo...Our Cupcake...making a difference as always!

And Mods...can we now get Biden added to the spell-checker???

3. The mood in the Obama headquarters here was sheer joy!

Some of them knew I was a Biden supporter, so it was so much fun going in there this morning. Lots of high-fives and me babbling about how proud I am of "my" Cupcake (it just kept slipping out!). This really cracked them up...Cupcake....they chuckled, so I had to explain. Some aren't all that familiar with him, so I did a few quickies about what he is all about, his background, etc.

What a great day! I am giddy with joy. Well another day shot as far as getting anything done around here. I am just going to enjoy it for all it's worth.

Now that cupcake is on the ticket I wish I was coming home for a week to work for them. I feel kind of sad. :( But I had to make a choice between coming home to vote or coming home for T'giving. Turkey Day won out. Such is life.

5. Someone posted a poll (don't ask me to find it in the MOUNTAINS of

positive Biden threads :-)) that showed Joe strongly led undecided voters. I don't know if undecided means swing, but i know Joe will appeal to a lot of voters that maybe weren't to confident of voting for Obama, for whatever reason.
