A couple of Bideny things to share.
First - Biden had a meeting today with daddy Bush. No word on what they talked about.

And ~ anybody ready to have Joe's back again?
He gets bashed pretty bad at a couple of websites.
One I noticed is Huffington Post, but the good news is there are a couple of Bidenites over there that stand up for Joe. I'm sure they would love some help. Another one is Politico. (yeah - I know they lean right).
But what I was thinking is that we could do what we used to do ~ come here and post links were Joe is getting bashed (like DR did the other nite)and then go over to those sites and defend him. It would mean signing up at different sites as needed.
I'm gonna start doing it - I can't sit here and let people mess with my cupcake.
Right now he is getting bashed for saying that it was mistake not to inform Feinstein of who they were thinking of nominating for CIA director....which is insane. Right after they bash Joe for saying that they continue to report that Obama called her and apologized profusely. Candy Crowley did a little snitty piece on that this morning, saying that Obama can't control his message anymore - even his VP is speaking out against him - oh please! :puke:
Anyone ready to have Biden's back again?

1. Pretty typical of the do-nothing media and Politico always tries to stir up stuff
Obama said he made a mistake too so whatever.

2. It must really suck for Joe. People analyze everything he says
and try to make something out of nothing.

It's gotta drive him nuts.

We love you Joe!!!

3. Obama laughs it off all the time. He likes/believes in his VP.
I read that sending him to Pakistan was his and his security team's idea. I think he knows Joe will be very valuable in that area of the world, with all his expertise.

4. I saw a post at another site where someone said that Obama knew what he was getting with Joe and
obviously didn't care.

I was thinking the other day that if Obama picked Kaine or Bayh he wouldn't be getting all this valuable info on foreign affairs. Obama made the right choice out of those 3. What would Kaine or Bayh have brought to the ticket? Not much but they would have stayed more on message. Seriously, what is more important? Knowledge vs a scripted message? Joe wins hands down. Besides, he's so much more personable than those two.

5. And more liberal. Kaine and Bayh are a bit too conservative for me.
Joe is much more likable too. I think Obama chose wisely.

8. Try 'knew what he was getting
AND THAT'S WHY HE SELECTED JOE!'

10. His choice of Biden was a turning point in the campaign IMO.
I did a lot of canvassing, and it was after his choice of Biden that I felt people becoming more receptive to the idea of Obama as the President. I distinctly remember one gentleman in particular. It was the day the news came out, and I was pretty geeked. This man opened the door, listened to my intro, and politely told me Obama just wasn't experienced enough. I said something like, Hey, did you hear who he picked for his running mate? When he said no, I told him, and there was a flash of a twinkle in his eye. He said he liked Biden, and there was just this little pause. Then he seemed to get a hold of himself, and still said he couldn't support Obama. But you know what? I bet he did in the end.

And I bet there were many other people who did, too, just because of our cupcake.

11. I think you're right
Biden was the perfect choice for a candidate who appeared awfully young and inexperienced. Obama needed a known entity by his side and Joe was a perfect fit.

14. Picking Biden was a shrewd move.
Honestly, I don't know who would have been a better choice. I say that without bias! ;)

15. "Shrewd" is the word I hear most often describing BHO's decisions/actions. Well put.

6. Oh here we go again - Candy Crowley's piece is being replayed.

7. How annoying
Once again the media is just making stories where none exists. I wish Blagojevich would do something, so they'd have something real to talk about.

9. and of course what he said,
his 'apology,' was to buy some 'goodies' for O from feinblah and 'supporters.' Since the event, others have noted that the selection was likely a well-reasoned one to insure a knowledgeable Do-SOMETHING over there! and 'failure' to announce in advance was literal slap in the face! Couldn't happen to a more diserving ( ).

No cable here now, so I've no way to see or hear candy, thank goodness!
