1. Here's a list of who was there today
http://voices.washingtonpost.com/federal-eye/2010/01/whos_attending_bidens_mothers.html

From the White House:

Senior Adviser David Axelrod, Deputy National Security Adviser Tom Donilon, Senior Adviser Valerie Jarrett, White House Cabinet Secretary Chris Lu, First Lady Chief of Staff Susan Sher, Legislative Affairs Director Phil Schiliro, White House Photographer Pete Souza and Economic Adviser Larry Summers.

From the Cabinet:

Energy Secretary Steven Chu, Housing and Urban Affairs Secretary Shaun Donovan, Education Secretary Arne Duncan, Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner, Commerce Secretary Gary Locke, Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood, Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano, Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Labor Secretary Hilda Solis, Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, U.S. Trade Representative Ron Kirk, Council of Economic Advisers Chairman Christina Romer. (Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton is traveling in the Pacific Rim and unable to attend.)

Also attending:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, Sens. Ted Kaufman, Tom Carper, Christopher Dodd, Max Baucus and Arlen Specter, former President Bill Clinton....

AND I just read that Joe is going back to work tomorrow! That is crazy. HE is leading a meeting with Iraqi Leaders on Thursday.
Again - the fact that Joe is the one leading the meeting goes right back to our earlier discussion, doesn't it?

3. Thanks for the list! I now have a soft spot in my heart for all those people --
even Geithner. I know Hillary would have been there if she had been in the country -- we know how fond they are of each other. It was nice for Bill to go.

Such a sad pic of Joe.

And yes, I thought -- who better to lead a meeting with Iraqi leaders? He knows them all. Old home week!

2. This is sick ---
A handful of protesters stood in the grass across the street from the church, chanting and waving signs with messages that included “God Hates Biden” and “Biden to Hell”. Westboro Baptist Church, an anti-gay group from Kansas that has also picketed the funerals of soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan, announced on its Web site that members would be demonstrating at Jean Biden’s funeral.

Those damn wackos.

6. I missed those - thankfully.
When it comes to those people, I feel hatred, and I don't feel that very often in my life.

7. I know, me too. And it makes me hate them even more because of how
they make me feel!

The disgusting things people do in the name of religion is sickening.
