a.. and The Reverend Lucius Walker - Excutive Director of IFCO//Pastors for Peace - gives an update on the ongoing attempt by the office of the Special Commissioner for Investigation (SCI) for the New York City Department of Education to hold IFCO and Rev. Walker in contempt. "The SCI’s stated purpose is an investigation of students and teachers who visited Cuba. Our understanding is that they are trying to do what OFAC has not been able to do - to punish IFCO for its efforts to end the blockade."

1. Francisco Aruca, a hero in his own right for facing down the reactionaries in Miami, even when
they've firebombed his Marazul offices, and stormed into his RadioProgreso looking for him and beat up his employees, and harrassed and threatened him all these years. Excellent person, courageous man.

Did not know someone has figured out an angle to harass Lucius Walker. I hope they get their asses handed to them. It's a little late to be trying that crap with these great people, and heroes.

Hope to be able to hear this program. Thanks for the alert.

2. Thanks for highlighting Aruca and Rev. Walker is one person I would . . .
never want to go up against. He is one tough guy -- maybe the bullet he took in the leg while in Nicaragua made him a man of steel!

4. I heard that, too! Mandela expresses such gratitude for Cuba's help.
People need to know our right-wing opposed Mandela from the first. Luckily their side lost, apartheid lost.
