I mean.. :wtf: DU's administrators need to understand simple geography for gawd's sake!

1. Cuba is Latin American
Haiti is more iffi; if you consider French a Latin based language, I guess Haiti qualifies.

4. Geographic
The term "Caribbean" is a geographic term. "Latin American" is more a cultural term that tends to be geographic in nature.

6. Should be Latin America and the Caribbean
although more than a few 'Caribbean' territories are not geographically in the Caribbean - Barbados, Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago.

It's all politics.
