Listen to Live Coverage on May 4 of Bolivia Autonomy Referendum from Radio Venezuela en Vivo
The print is a little jumbled, but Radio Venezuela will broadcast on May 4 in spanish, english and french on a special coverage pro gram on the Bolivian autonomy referenda. If you scroll down you will see what time the programming starts, etc. If you happened to catch Radio Venezuela during the Venezuelan referendum last December you know they had some very good interviews amid some major technical problems. I imagine that has been cleared up somewhat

If I find info that is easier to read, I will add to the list

*Special programming "Bolivia" on Radio Venezuela en Vivo *

* *The local pro-opposition authorities in Santa Cruz, Bolivia have decided
to hold a referendum on 4 May 2008: the question, should the region become
autonomous

Now, according to Bolivan electoral authorities, this refer€ ¦ï¿½ndum is
illegal

What lies behind this demand for regional autonomy?

Is Bolivia en route to balkanisation?

€ ¦ï¿½ Why has the man who was US ambassador in Kosovo been sent in the same
capacity to Bolivia?

From Kosovo to Santa Cruz by way of Tibet and the oil-rich state of Zulia in
Venezuela , what exactly do these separatist movements mean?

To give you an answer to all these questions (and more) Radio Venezuela en
Vivo's internacional team Hill broadcast special programming on Bolivia on
the very day of the referendum Sunday 4 May.

1. This will be terrific, magbana. I know several posters were listening closely last December.
Very, very interesting. I hated it when they stopped broadcasting.

Thanks for the alert. Looking forward.

2. Gotta keep this near the top until after the referendum. Need to be able to find the station
just the way we did last December. Thanks, again, magbana.

4. Haven't heard news, yet. BEAUTIFUL folk music. It may be a little early for news.
Reception seems fine so far.

7. Should any of the sincere DU'ers check this thread, they are expecting to speak with
Benjamin Dangl later in the day, as well as Eva Golinger, and others.

Filling in between reports they are playing Bolivian folk music, which is BEAUTIFUL, as in both voices and songs, as well as instruments, and past Evo Morales campaign songs, at times. Some of the songs are wildly lively, and some are stunningly humorous.

8. For any DU'er who tries to listen to this live broadcast, they will be switching to French

very soon for their French listeners. Don't know if they'll resume English or not, yet.

Very interesting.

Music playing by Victor Jara, murdered by Pinochet for his leftist ways long ago, after being held and tortured in the Chile Stadium in Santiago.
