Cuba proves U.S. government, terrorist ties
A.N.S.W.E.R., National Ctte. to file FOIA request
Santiago Alvarez Today, the Cuban government revealed evidence that Michael Parmly, the head of the U.S. mission in Cuba, has been serving as an emissary for the notorious terrorist Santiago Alvarez, funneling $1500 a month to Cuban "dissident "Martha Beatriz Roque, along with payments to other groups in Cuba such as the "Ladies in White."
In Washington, D.C. tomorrow (Tuesday, May 20), the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five in conjunction with the A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition (Act Now to Stop War and End Racism) will be holding a timely press conference (details below) to denounce this latest outrage, and to call for the immediate extradition of Luis Posada Carriles and freedom for the Cuban Five.The press conference will also announce that A.N.S.W.E.R. and the National Committee to Free the Cuban Five will be filing a FOIA (Freedom of Information Act) request to demand full information from the U.S. government about this latest outrage.

Who is Santiago Alvarez?
Santiago Alvarez is a terrorist accomplice and financier of Luis Posada Carriles. He personally smuggled Posada into the United States. He is currently serving an absurdly light sentence of 30 months for possessing weapons including 14 pounds of plastic explosives, 200 pounds of dynamite, 30 semiautomatic and automatic weapons, and a grenade launcher; he also served 10 months for refusing to testify about his role in smuggling Posada into the U.S.
