we're still getting dug out of the shit Bush created. And that was quite a load of shit. I'm not even talking about the crusty old stuff left by Nixon and Reagan. I didn't vote 'No', though, because we ARE making progress digging through the shit, it's just that we can't see it.

3. Two steps forward, one step back.
With the GOP & the Blue Dogs standing above & kicking America in the face every step of the way.

5. Yes but at a snails pace......
then once republicans get back into office they'll undo whatever little progress was made so it doesn't matter.

7. We are merely slowing the process of Democracy's demise.
McCain/Palin would have killed it outright.

8. Yes. Slowly, but it is there, and it continues. It will become more evident
in 2010, when we win even more seats in congress despite the "trends" and some Democrats who have already conceded defeat.

9. I think that repukes have been marginalized and now Democrats are sabotaging
each other. Doesn't sound like a winning strategy.

10. It would have been impossible NOT to make progress after Bush left.
So yeah, he's making some, and he's done some good things that have flown under the radar. He's also done some things that suck and are big time headline grabbers, and he's getting the feedback he asked for over it.

12. Yes
Slowly. Our "big tent" includes too many conservatives and doesn't reflect the population. I'm hopeful that Obama will pave the way for someone more progressive.
