I'd be thinkin' that President Obama's advisers don't want him to have a 2nd term because they prefer somebody else, so naturally (or unnaturally, if you prefer), they aren't giving him advice that would help him have a 2nd term... Don't ask me who they'd rather have...paranoia doesn't provide answers, just suspicion.

It's a dam good thing I'm not paranoid, so the truth must be that his advisers are inept, incapable and not up to the task of assisting a president...

I'd almost believe that some of us in the rank wants this President to fail.....
and are looking past what advise the Republicans will get when
they become the majority, something it appears we are helping will in.

If he fails, I fail, you fail, we all do.

But it's goofy stuff, for instance, that Byron Dorgan bill that wasn't passed, where drugs could be purchased from foreign countries cheaper than here - it was said that pharma had meetings in the WH and the WH discouraged senators from voting for it...and losing governorships in 2 states and Sen. Kennedy's seat.

Everything the progressives wanted or expected is not on anybody important's agenda.

As far as President Obama goes, he's my favorite person in public life, and there's nobody that could do a better job if he has the mindset to accomplish all the things we dreamed about with a Dem president.

I may sound critical of him, but I'll argue with anybody who says a bad word about him. I truly love him...but am disappointed.
