Tweety is killing me.
Edited on Wed Jun-16-10 04:14 PM by vaberella
I can't handle this 180. This is all my input on this. Anyone share the annoyance. At this point he's brown-nosing now. Now he's defending the President. Everyone seems to be doing it. Weird.

Additionally, The councilman being interview is absurd. He's a fool. He doesn't seem to know anything. Why can't everyone be Admiral Thad Allen?! I think this guy is a teabagger or being self righteous. I turn off when I see a person turning red yelling---it does nothing and NEVER inspires confidence in a leader. Well it never inspires inspiration in me.

3. You know what comes next....why do you watch?
Since cutting off cable a few years ago, my happiness factor has soared....I can still keep up with the news on the web, and don't miss the daily, hourly, minute by minute spin!

23. Here is some.
The red faced guy was ranting and raving about how when he talked to Obama he didn't get any answers on the skimming boats. Then there was the issue of money being given out. Normally in the past he would have jumped at the chance to rant on Obama about it and he totally backed down on it. Then there were times where he went as far as to defend the President. Don't get me wrong he wasn't as enthusiastic in his defense as he was before and I think it was. There's no real set of something that he does or say...it's more in the overall read of his body language. He's very toned down, and definitely not jumping at the openings to instigate the situation. And that tomato that was screaming was given a lot of ammunition.

with a hamburger.

There was something up with those three last night. Too caught up in the beltway bubble, I guess. I imagine watching the playback was tough on all of them.

RM has still not said anything.

24. LOL. He spent the last year promoting the teabaggers by giving
them airtime to make their threats and racist remarks, now he says we should be scared?

Tweety, we've all known these people were psychotic from the get-go, where've you been?

13. I don't watch him, except when he is doing something
with KO or Rachel.

I won't get past his cheerleading the war. He likes to say he was against it, but he was practically drooling on himself in the run up.

16. I think he's afraid that after last night, people won't watch
his documentary tonite. I think he was told to tow the line for ratings.

I really thing that cable news has become this disconnected. he needs to get people back QUICKLY for ratings. MSNBC jumped the shark last night, and I suspect that the Hamsherites LOVED it. The problem is tha tMSNBC -- Tweety included believed the uber progressive hype, today they are learning that it isn't the base. Not of the Democratic party or the viewership of the cable news channel.

It isn't.

You all can go flame me, but I am a proud liberal. What happened last night was shameful, and I think even Tweety knows he done wrong. So does KO. I am pretty sure that most people who I consider liberal do NOT want MSNBC to become a left wing version of FauxNooz. They want honest reporting and FAIR punditry. Last night they jumped the shark. I think Tweety got a memo.

Liberals like me do not watch MSNBC because there is too little OTT bashing of Obama. We have FOX and CNN and MSNBC daytime for that.

maybe he's reaching out to a different audience?
