Michelle and Sasha should have vacationed somewhere along the Gulf Coast

I just realized Obama missed a rare opportunity when his wife vacationed in Spain. It would have benefited Obama politically if his wife and kid vacationed somewhere along the Gulf Coast.

I think it would have been a political windfall and vacation critics would have looked foolish.

Oh well.

21. Like their Maine trip, it is a weekend get-away. The trip to Maine had the President take Friday

afternoon off and he was back in the WH by Sunday afternoon.

Complaining about how someone spends the weekend should be easier to beat down.

Remember, it is August. Bush liked to take the ENTIRE month off. A bit of a difference with taking off a little early on a Friday afternoon or taking a weekend trip somewhere.
