Nevada Senate: Angle fleeing Latino media
Sharrrrron Angle is afraid of Latino media.

While Democrat Harry Reid's campaign actively pursues Hispanic media interviews, Spanish language broadcasters and newspapers say they're getting shut out by Republican Sharron Angle's campaign.

Hispanic media journalists are tracking the Senate campaign alongside their English language colleagues. But the editor of Spanish language newspaper El Tiempo says in 30 years, he's never experienced such a shutout as his team is getting from Angle's campaign.

"We never receive information, press releases, information on the place for talking with the community. Nothing," said Editor in Chief Hernando Amaya.

As the piece notes, 7,000 of Cark County's 24,000 Latino voters went GOP in 2008, which isn't surprising given Las Vegas' huge Cuban-American community. Of course, Angle probably fears being asked about her regressive immigration stance, but surrendering a key and large voting bloc seems idiotic even by Angle's standards.

And Harry Reid is rubbing it in:

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid questioned on Tuesday how Hispanics could be Republicans.

Speaking with Hispanic supporters Tuesday at Hermandad Mexicana in Las Vegas, Reid took several shots at Republicans, blaming them for the fact that comprehensive immigration reform has not yet been passed.

"I don't know how anyone of Hispanic heritage could be a Republican, OK?" Reid said, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

"Do I need to say more?" he asked

2. Tea Party Syndrome: offering unelectable candidates who then go out and run . . .
Amateurish campaigns directed at a shrinking sliver of the electorate. It may be what saves Dems in November.

3. When this is all over, Angle is going to be in great
physical shape from all the running from the press she's doing.

Good on Reid for saying that.

5. You can substitute a lot of phrases for "of Hispanic heritage".
Like "who is gay", "who is black", "in their right mind", etc.
