2. We need to keep Ted Olson in perspective

As far as I am concerned Ted Olson lost his wife on that fateful day and he and other victims have the right to speak out on the Mosque issue.

Also, I think the fact that Prop 8 is working it's way through the courts is where it needs to be. Unless the proponants of Prop8 can come up with a better reason why gays can't get married they are done and everyone knows it. Nothing they presented is based on law just feelings.
I am going to say "When" this gets to the Supreme Court it will become settled law that gays cannot be denied the right to marry. At that point the President and the DOJ can say it is the law of the land. (I honestly believe this is what the President wanted to see happen).
