1. Exactly the status of this country right now
Ehrlich ruined Maryland. He literally ruined it. It was getting along fine under the previous Democratic governors. He took over and like bush screwed the heck out of it. How in the world people can still approve of this POS is beyond me. Of course the Eastern Shore and the panhandle of Maryland are republican and always have been. Democratic governors win by taking Baltimore, PG and those surrounding counties. Maybe we should be sure that the poll isn't being taken in those areas. People who approve of republican tactics are their own worst enemies and they sure as hell are too damn dumb to know it.

7. Ehrlich sure did ruin this state. But if that's what people want, then so be it.
Of course I don't agree that polls at this stage of the game even matter. It's way to early. Hell, October 31 is still too early. However, polls do affect public opinion. These polls can be advantageous for the Democratic Party pragmatists who, despite their disappointment in the party, don't want Republicans back in power and will get out and vote as a result. Or, constant messages about how the Democrats are going to lose may have the opposite effect and depress voter turnout. Really, it all boils down to GOTV.

Rasmussen doesn't seem to credible to me, but even if this polls is true, I maintain that it's far too early to use polls as an accurate gauge to influence elections.

3. Their 'automated phone' poll didn't reach me.
Mebbe 'cause my cell has D.C. area code, tho I've lived in MD 5+ years. (Wash. county now, was in Montg.)
So, lets not believe everything/anything we read about 'polls.'

8. So since they did not poll you then we should not believe those numbers?
Do you know how ridiculous that sounds?

10. Do you know how ridiculous YOU sound, to suggest you don't understand?
If they're not reaching ### with 'out of district' cell numbers, what does that suggest about the validity of their poll numbers?

9. Ehrlich has even resorted to bashing Palin
He criticized her for quitting. His internals must have him down, because that was an obvious play for Democratic support. It could backfire on him, I imagine the conservative Republicans in the panhandle won't take kindly to him bashing Palin.
