(While I doubt the younger Reid will win that was a pretty good gain for him in the last couple of weeks, going from 25-points down to 13-points down)
Nevada's gubernatorial race is a little closer this week, but Republican Brian Sandoval still holds a double-digit lead over Democrat Rory Reid.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state shows Sandoval picking up 52% of the vote, while Reid draws support from 39%. Three percent (3%) prefer another candidate, and five percent (5%) remain undecided.
Earlier this month, Sandoval reached his highest level of support yet, leading Reid by a 58% to 33% margin. Sandoval, a former federal judge and state attorney general, has led Reid in surveys dating back to February with support ranging from 45% to 58%. In those same surveys, Reid, chairman of the Clark County Board of Commissioners and son of Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, has earned 31% to 40% of the vote.
