Crist's strange answer in interview (see video)
In an interview with the Palm Beach Post, Florida Gov. Charlie Crist (I) insisted that he would have run as an independent for U.S. Senate even if he had been leading the GOP primary by 20 points.

5. Exactly, and yet ANOTHER reason for why no FL progressives should
even consider voting for that regressive repuke scumbag posing as a so-called "moderate" independent.

2. What do you expect him to say?
I only ran as an Independent because I couldn't win as a Republican?

3. Makes sense... but why lie when you know that nobody will believe you?
Just dodge the question. "Why not ask me if I would run as a martian if they had endorsed me? I think I'm the best option for the people of Florida and I'll run as a potted plant if I think that gives them their best chance of being represented as they deserve"

8. He'a Republican Reject
So no, of course I don't believe him. The kind of daft voters who would all seem to live in Florida, where the Demcocrats vote for the best Republican they can find. Those 'moderate centrists' who are promoting him, to me they are not Democrats at all. Democrats vote for Democrats. Repubican Rejects vote for Republican Rejects if you ask me.

9. No, because he WAS running as a Republican and didn't move until he was
not just behind, but significantly behind.
