Ohio House candidate (used car salesman) sued for sexual harassment
CLEVELAND - A Cleveland woman has sued a candidate for a U.S. congressional seat in northeastern Ohio, alleging the candidate propositioned her and groped her after she tried to volunteer for his campaign.

The 39-year-old woman said in a lawsuit filed in Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court Thursday that Tom Ganley offered her a $100 bill to buy lingerie and encouraged her to join him and his friends at a condominium.

The lawsuit alleges Ganley tried to force himself on the woman, who had approached Ganley about volunteering for his campaign.

Ganley, a Republican and well-known northern Ohio car salesman, is in a closely watched House race nationally as he tries to unseat Democratic incumbent U.S. Rep. Betty Sutton.

The news segment I saw called the woman who is suing Ganley as an ultra conservative pointing out that this is not someone trying to effect the election and that this has been out there for a year with negotiations to resolve the case, which fell through last month.

3. I am glad she is a republican but isn't it odd
that all these actions by republicans don't make the news, while the tiniest infraction of a Democrat is front page news for months. I give you the difference between the coverage of Vitter and Spitzer.
