Oil Spill - 5/2/10 Transcript of Salazar on CNN providing Worst Scenario for Gulf to the Public
Edited on Wed Oct-06-10 08:45 PM by FrenchieCat
May 2nd CNN Interview transcript:

SALAZAR: From day one, there has been the assumption here on the worst-case scenario. And so the--

CROWLEY: What is the worst-case scenario, while we're on that?

SALAZAR: The worst-case scenario is we could have 100,000 barrels or more of oil flowing out. And the requirements BP has is to have the capability to respond to that kind of a spill. And it means doing everything that's going on, including containing the well down at the bottom, mitigating the impacts on the sea, mitigating impacts as things happen on shore.

3. You providing various links to the same AP story printed in a bunch of newspapers
Edited on Wed Oct-06-10 08:50 PM by FrenchieCat
doesn't refute the fact that Salazar was on CNN giving worst case scenario to the public,
in early May.

The fact that this is election season, and that AP ain't your friend apparently eludes you.

So go on with your work, and ignore what I have presented; a CNN transcript that belies
the claim of the AP story.

13. A video of Salazar stating the Worse Case Scenario dated 5/2
over an AP story without anything but accusations dated 10/6?

You are damn skippy, I'm going with the CNN video and transcript
over AP reporting!

read the entire commission report or just have a reason to believe the worse on this administration. Despite evidence to the contrary the media spin on the report is ridiculous and unfortunately damaging.

Edited on Wed Oct-06-10 08:52 PM by FrenchieCat
How do you refute a CNN interview?
By ignoring it, like it didn't really happen?

10. FrenchieCat, you still believe in the easter Bunny - Santa Claus?...
Actions speak louder then words ever will, in case you didn't notice, the first thing BP did was pull the live video footage, remember?

12. So Barack Obama caused the Oil Leak, then tried to hide it.......
and the Panel that he himself appointed have a document
no longer on the Internet for whatever the reason,
and AP is a reliable news source whose never been known
to put out smears right before an election.

And you are asking me about the easter bunny?
