FL-Gov: Sink releases tough new ad against Scott's Medicare abuse and golden parachute
Good to see! latest polls have it tight--Mason-Dixon polling has Sink up by 4 and Rasmussen has Scott up by 3, but that is an improvement from last week when Scott was up by 5 in a Ras poll:

FLORIDA SIREN – SINK DIALS IT UP: Florida CFO Alex Sink will hold a press conference with law enforcement officials today to unveil a scorching, two-minute television ad that aims to trace “a money trail from taxpayers’ wallets straight to the pockets of one mysterious man.” That would be Republican gubernatorial candidate Rick Scott, who was CEO of the Columbia/HCA hospital chain when it committed Medicare fraud that resulted in a $1.7 billion fine. Morning Score got a sneak peek at Sink’s ad: It describes Scott’s tenure at Columbia/HCA, highlighting the fact that he “resigned in disgrace with a $300 million golden parachute,” and then started another health care company that’s been the target of new fraud charges.

The spot, produced by Rich Davis of the Dixon Davis Media Group, will make its on-air debut Wednesday during the 6 o’clock news in Tampa. It ends by challenging Scott to release the videotape of a deposition he gave earlier this year, concluding: “The only thing that stands between him and the governor’s office is the people of Florida. Will Scott ever come clean and release the tapes, or will he get away with the greatest fraud of all?” Every recent poll has shown this race within the low single digits, one way or the other. Stay tuned for the video (and Brian Williams cameo) later today …

1. How Rick Scott is considered a viable candidate for anything other than "prisoner" escapes me.
