President Obama attended a fund-raiser Monday at the Coral Gables, Fla., home of former NBA great Alonzo Mourning.

Among those in attendance were two stars of the Miami Heat, Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade. "I like you, but when you play the Bulls, I'm rooting against you," he said.

The president said he and Democrats won in 2008 because of voters who want the American dream. He also said Republicans want to "ride that anger and frustration all the way to the ballot box" and not offer solutions. He and his allies wanted to work with the GOP but they wouldn't. "If I said there were fish in the sea, they'd say no."

Obama also said: "We've got to tell them in this election you can't have the keys back. You don't know how to drive!"

The event was to benefit the DCCC and, in particular, Rep. Ron Klein - a Florida congressman whom Obama at point confused with noted Florida politico Ron Klain.
