My dad is a hard-core RWer who loves Christine O'Donnell

He normally donates a couple hundred bucks per election year to the Republican Senate and Congressional committees.

I convinced him to send it directly to O'Donnell instead, where it can do more "good". (teehee)

Why?

Because she has ZERO chance of winning that election. She could get $100 million tomorrow, and she will not win in Delaware.

But every dollar he sends to her is a dollar that does not go to a VIABLE Republican candidate (Like Toomey in our state of PA).

Encourage every RWer you know to donate their money DIRECTLY to candidates that have no chance of winning.

O'Donnell is down by 20 points in a VERY VERY blue state. Barring Coons being caught with the proverbial "dead girl or live boy", he literally can NOT lose.

3. Wow.
May I ask what he likes about her? Does he like her political views, or is it the thrill of the rogue? You don't have to answer if you feel I'm too personal, but this is the first I've heard of anyone liking her and I'm curious.

12. O'Donnell is a hero down here in Georgia...
The religious crowd thinks she is wonderful! I don't know Delaware politics but what I do is Georgia politics & if she was running down here I bet she wins.

Case in point...Well, maybe not as bad but still insane is the Governors Race in Georgia. Nathan Deal has been busted lying not once but twice since winning the GOP nomination for Governor about millions of dollars in loan defaults on personal businesses and just two days ago it came out he is under investigation for more ethical violations as a US Congressman...He was already considered the most corrupt Congressman in the House prior to this last allegation.

Deal currently leads Roy Barnes 49%-40% to 4% for a Libertarian Candidate...Deal will need to get 51% to avoid a run off. If I am not mistaken Deal has gained 2% points since this last allegations came out!

6. The Freepers think she will win!
Over in BizzaroLand, they think she handily won tonight's debate... and will win in November.

13. I actually heard Limbaugh speak of the polls missing her "surge",
Edited on Thu Oct-14-10 07:34 AM by karynnj
but saying that Obama going there was because the Democrats know - from their internal polls that she will win - and he said he predicted it a month ago.

15. She'll win only if Pennsylvania annexes New Castle County into their state
barring that it'll been Coons by a landslide.

10. She's him! I hope the GOP overall loses big this November - I want to see
all that money they invested come to nothing. That would really make me happy.

16. I don't live in Delaware, so I don't know how much support she has...
but I'm a little wary. If there's one thing we've learned over the past decade or so, it's to never underestimate the Republicans.
