Not surprisingly, local media are more or less ignoring it, probably because the internals look bleak for Baker, but it is harder and harder to ignore.

This number is particularly good to read, considering how low Patrick started and how high Baker started.

Both Cahill and Baker are polling higher negatives than positives. Not so for Patrick, who has a 46 percent favorability rating, compared to 43 percent who view him unfavorably.

Tying Baker to the Big Dig has been Patrick's magic bullet--the Big Dig is political cancer for anyone who wants higher office in this state.

It would be different if other polls were showing results close to that, but this poll would be a 12 point change to the Rasmussen poll of last week.

and I am so glad it was just a moment of dyslexia.

Even Nate Silver, with his bleak outlook for Dems, gives Patrick a 75% chance of winning reelection--which is damn good for this point in the cycle.
