Too little, Too Late
That's what I'm reading in most media news stories about the Democrats.

So, cool....although I'm not ready to go back,
I don't believe I have a choice anymore,
so here goes nothing for some,
and possibly everything for others.

Hope the coming lesson is worth it to all.

1. 2009-2010 will be remembered as the Golden Years very
quickly--by about February of 2011.

4. At this point, folks are so stuck on stupid......
Just like they have worked so very hard to get it done,
they have succeeded in me no longer giving a shit one way
or the other.

20. ahhhh Come on Frenchie
I believe there is a silent majority out there.

Here's a pick me up;
"Black voters are "strategically located" to impact as many as 20 House races, mostly in Southern states, explained David Bositis, a senior researcher at the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies]

2. "...what I'm reading in most media news stories about the Democrats."
And they haven't been a reliable source of information since the election of President Clinton.

I won't say "don't worry", but will say "get out and vote, and take a bunch of friends with you."

7. THIS X INFINTY -I am so SICK of the whining!!!!
I am so SICK of the whining!!!!

Every time a Progressive whines about what Obama isn't doing, or how the GOP-owned media is saying that they've won and it's over "STAY HOME", I want to SCREAM!!!

Stop it already. Wake up. YOU ARE AIDING AND ABETTING THE ENEMY. Why are you helping them? WHY???

Instead of whining about where Obama's spine is, WHERE THE FRAK IS YOURS???? How do you give up so easily? How are you so easily LIED TO by the right? WHY DO YOU BELIEVE THEM???

Pay attention, and learn how government works. Obama was never going to give you your little Progressive Pony™ on day 1. NOT EVER. He is trying to undo over 30 years of GOP driven dismantling of our country, and you are assisting them.

We are the ones who forced Obama to reach across the aisle because we didn't send him the Progressive Army of over 60 people he could work with. WHAT DO YOU EXPECT HIM TO DO? He cannot get "gansta" on anyone because they'd run that 24/7 on every channel with Palin screaming that he's too unstable to be POTUS and he needs to be impeached immediately.

Instead he's the only one with a clear head, that's a grandmaster chess player who is playing for the long term instead of only the next election cycle. I, for one, am THANKFUL he is more Mandela than Malcom X. We need that kind of professionalism on the international arena.

I just wish the whiners would realize how destructive they are. Rove doesn't need any help! Please wake up and grow up.

"...what I'm reading in most media news stories about the Democrats."

That's what you said.

In girl-speak I took that to mean
"the media news stories about the Democrats haven't been a reliable source of information since the election of President Clinton."

If that's not what you meant, please clarify.

10. Do you really think you'll gain our support or admiration with your "Progressive Pony™" crap?
All Obama had to do was DELIVER ON HIS CAMPAIGN PROMISES.

But he hasn't even come close to vocally, loudly supporting the
very positions he campaigned on. Instead, in nearly every battle,
he negotiated away most of his winning cards before he ever even
anted up.

THAT is why the Democrats are in the trouble they're in.

12. and why is that?
Because there is a media black out on everything he says, you have to go to CSPAN to see anything or whitehouse.gov.

Do you really believe he can roll back over 30 years of systematic GOP dismantling and deregulation?

How exactly is he supposed to do that when he has NEVER EVER had 60 votes that the filibuster-happy GOP has required? Blink like Jeannie?

Name 60 dems in the senate who ALWAYS VOTE DEM/PROGRESSIVE - who have all been in the senate at the same time. (Teddy died, Franken wasn't seated for seven months..)

... ?

15. You're whining about my use of words? Really?
That is what you're complaining about?

To paraphrase Bill Maher: There's a big difference between a disappointing friend and committed enemy.

Fine, stay home. I may be in the party of spineless crybabies, but I'm not ready to surrender to the GOP and allow them to abuse me some more.

5. The election isn't over yet. The future is what WE make of it
Pay no attention to the corporate media. They seem to desperately want to foist the "teabaggers" on us (why I have no idea) and they just can't handle the Dems' post-Labor Day bounce back, so naturally they have to find new ways to minimize our gains so as to keep us discouraged and ultimately from voting on election day.

Hopefully, we will all GOTV on election day and keep what is undeniably a bad electoral situation from being even worse (and maybe even manage to humiliate the Republicans- by keeping control of Congress for the third straight election in a row- in the process).

Anybody who has given up and/or is so pissed off at the Democrats for their "flaw of choice" and stays home and doesn't vote and enables the Republican Tea Party to control Congress- has no standing IMHO to complain about anything the Republican Tea Party does to our country for the next two years.

Don't listen to the bullshit. Just WORK on campaigns and VOTE.

8. I really believe
that people who don't vote because of laziness or a sense that the Democrats deserve what they get will need to STFU when things really start going south.

To paraphrase Bill Maher: There's a big difference between a disappointing friend and committed enemy.

I'm not happy about a lot of things but I know I will be a whole lot unhappier if the Republicans have their way. There will probably be another vacancy on the SCOTUS in the next couple of years. Do we really want another Scalia or Thomas?

17. That's encouraging all right! And a 180 from the Media takes on things
A longtime Dem lady I spoke to at the supermarket today said to me " I think a LOT of people are sick of all this BS and don't answer their land lines, and just plan on dutifully going to the polls and voting for the Democrats"

19. Yawn
The lesson will be that the MSM is full of shit and has been trying to discouraging you and everyone else to not go out and vote.

The most important thing for everyone to understand...

The Polls are shit

The ONLY thing that matters is "VOTER TURNOUT"!

"VOTER TURNOUT"! "V"VOTER TURNOUT"! VOTER TURNOUT"! "VOTER TURNOUT"!

This election depends on number of ballots submitted.

Stop falling for the crap and get out and vote!
