Sink Retakes Lead in Florida

A new Sunshine State News poll in Florida shows Alex Sink (D) has taken a lead over Rick Scott (R) in the gubernatorial race, 48% to 45% -- a 9-point swing since earlier this month when Scott led by six points.

Said pollster Jim Lee: "While the 3-point margin is still on the cusp of the poll's 2.2 percent margin of error, it nevertheless represents statistically significant movement when compared back to Oct. 6 because it's a net swing of 9 points (Sink up 4, Scott down 5)."

3. I don't know much about her either except she is a normal candidate who got here the old fashioned
way - she served in other state offices to establish a solid record and experience before running for Governor.

Scott, of course, is another horrendous Republican candidate. A business man/criminal scumbag who bashes Government while stealing from it.

This is another race where if the Republicans nominated someone semi-acceptable then they would probably be up over ten points.

We can only work hard to keep another one of their freak show candidates from winning.

12. I don't think she would have had any problems. McCollum is about as exciting as watching paint dry.
Sink would have beaten him easily.

7. I share your optimism except for the Meek/Crist/Rubio race.
On the other hand, WHY oh WHY are so many races against the evil, stupid, or downright crazy so damn close? I honestly don't get it. :wtf:

8. Scott is really a scary looking dude
His eyes have that vacant weird stare, sort of like Charlie Manson. Also involved in a Medicare scam. I live in Florida and the thought of this creep being Governor is so frightening I don't see how I can continue to live in this State.

9. Add Rubio to the mix and we'll be called the
Dark Ages State instead of the Sunshine State. No Democrats will retire here, only rethugs. The end of the world as we know it.

11. Boy, Did You Hit the Nail On The Head! How Much More Can We Take??
I actually FEAR what may be coming and don't have ANYWAY of leaving here! I've lived here since '71 and have NEVER seen such corruption and blatant crap in my life!

A 3-way Senate race, and ONE of the lower 2 should have cut their loses and gotten out some time ago! I don't use the word HOPE anymore, not since 2008 anyway, but I can only WISH that the polls are only reflecting the calls that are made to people who have land lines.

I happen to know many, many Democrats voting for Crist, and I KNOW many here don't want to hear it, but it's kind of "pick your poison" this time around, and it REALLY, REALLY SUCKS!

10. The polls in FL are looking increasingly better for Governor
If we take governorships in FL and CA that will at least give us some bragging rights.

13. Yep ...
when this race upturned for the Rs the last week or so, some of the MSM water carriers drew the line in the sand on Cali, Florida and Texas as the fulcrum of the governors races as being the big three, and noted the Rs on track to get two of them, to mitigate Brown taking the reigns in Cali ...

Beyond that, as we all know - REDISTRICTING, and you have an R state house/senate, I believe ... Also, elections moving forward, including the 2012 president, would feel A LOT better about things in Florida with a D governor ...

Big race, not just bragging rights, but strategically in holding the line and trying to make things are set up moving forward ....
