Virginia Thomas Leaves Anita Hill a Voicemail Asking for An Apology
Hill Says "NO"

A few days ago, Brandeis University professor Anita Hill received a message on her voice mail at work.

“Good morning, Anita Hill, it's Ginny Thomas,” said the voice, “I just wanted to reach across the airwaves and the years and ask you to consider something. I would love you to consider an apology sometime and some full explanation of why you did what you did with my husband. So give it some thought and certainly pray about this and come to understand why you did what you did. Okay have a good day.”

Hill didn’t think the call was real.

“I initially thought it was a prank,” Hill tells ABC News. “And if it was, I thought the authorities should know about it.”

She reported the call to campus police.

Mark Matthews of our affiliate KGO learned about this and reached out to Virginia Thomas.

Thomas emailed him, saying: “I did place a call to Ms. Hill at her office extending an olive branch to her after all these years, in hopes that we could ultimately get passed what happened so long ago. That offer still stands, I would be very happy to meet and talk with her if she would be willing to do the same. Certainly no offense was ever intended.” <...> http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2010/10/virginia-thomas-leaves-anita-hill-a-voicemail-asking-for-an-apology-hill-says-no.html">ABC News

OK, so Ginny Thomas isn't just a teabagger...she's also certifiable (in case you thought the two were divisible).

3. WTF is it with republicans?
Calling someone up and asking them to apologize for exposing someones boorish and inappropriate behavior is not "extending an olive branch".

7. WTF is it with the liberal media?
That they would term this low class demand for an apology "reaching out"?

4. Oh, this brings back memories than just curdle my milk.
It feels like it happened yesterday. I am still so pissed, so I can imagine how Anita Hill feels. She was treated horribly.

Oh, and by the way, I am positive that she was telling the truth.

14. I believe she was telling the truth also.
There is no way she would have jeopardized her career if she didn't think that it was important enough. Thomas hasn't asked a question in 4 years on the bench......she knew....

18. I Never Saw A More Credible Witness Than Anita Hill.

Clarence Thomas, on the other hand, was in a full-sweat panic. To me, it was painfully obvious who was telling the truth.

I hope Thomas and his creepy wife never have another restful hour over the whole matter.....

she's going to run for something or her husband is...did someone record her call? She says “I just wanted to reach across the airwaves..." Airwaves? do people really refer to the phone as airwaves?

16. About Time Anita Hill Unload Everything
If there are things she was holding back before, I hope she decides to unload on this teabagger and her no-clue husband since they think they can get away with anything.
