George Soros Donates $1 Million To Media Matters To Fight Fox News
"Soros funds the Tides Foundation, the organization recently targeted by an assassin who claimed to have been inspired by Beck's program."

Billionaire philanthropist George Soros has donated $1 million to Media Matters for America in an effort to fight Fox News.

Soros, a prominent Democratic fundraiser and donor, is a frequent target of Fox News hosts, particularly Glenn Beck. He said in a statement that he is donating the money — his first donation to the group — because of "recent evidence suggesting that the incendiary rhetoric of Fox News hosts may incite violence":

"Despite repeated assertions to the contrary by various Fox News commentators, I have not to date been a funder of Media Matters. However, in view of recent evidence suggesting that the incendiary rhetoric of Fox News hosts may incite violence, I have now decided to support the organization. Media Matters is one of the few groups that attempts to hold Fox News accountable for the false and misleading information they so often broadcast. I am supporting Media Matters in an effort to more widely publicize the challenge Fox News poses to civil and informed discourse in our democracy."

1. Glenn Beck was frothing at the mouth tonight
And playing as if is a 'victim'. He said they want to kill him. He's nutty as a fruitcake. I only watched to see how Beck would react.

3. I've never actually watched his show
he does have a show, right? I've only seen clips of him on Jon Stewart, etc. but he makes the Monster Raving Loony Party look middle-of-the-road. I find him very dangerous because of the way he weaves his fake religiosity in with his fake outrage. If it was my world, I'd force him to have DANGEROUS CLOWN tattooed on his forehead.

9. Beck thinks too highly of himself. Beck is actually the least dangerous ................
noisy fool on Fux news. Once the handful of cracked tea pots get elected and begin to bow down to their GOP establishment leaders, the tea-party will lose much of their momentum. Boner will put them in the GOP lacky line and they will into line with the rest of the goose-stepping numskulls. We saw the same thing with Clinton and the GOP minute-men, and they quickly dissolved into the background after the GOP took control of Congress.

The real threats are Hannity and Orally. These two attempt to pass themselves off as true conservatives who will willingly toe the line of the GOP establishment. I almost swear they are literally on Boners staff payroll.

Beck has always been an extremist with extremist language. Orally and Hannity are able to convince the right that they are the mainstream in their views.

No question about it. It really exposes the extremists on the right.
