That was hardly a coincidence. Obama made a couple of comments about people blowing money in Las Vegas that mayor Oscar Goodman didn't appreciate during the last year or so. I think Goodman skipped this rally as a result.

This is much needed. Clark County Democratic GOTV is significantly better organized than 4 years ago or more, but the county in general lacks natural political spark during midterms. The cow counties show up even if it's voting for the favorite shade of dirt.
