I got a call from the DCCC requesting help with money.

They claimed that my contribution would be matched. I believe 2 to 1.

Personally, I wasn't interested. I first confirmed that it was the DCCC. Once they confirmed they were I asked if the local candidate for Congress was being supported. They again confirmed that they weren't. I did all that to make sure they understood that was the major reason I wasn't contributing. I told them I had been contributing to the candidate they were not supporting along with other more local candidates. They still kept at it and I closed off by telling them that I am tapped out and retired.

4. I had the same conversation when the DCCC called me.

I told them that as long as they were no longer supporting Grayson, I would no longer send them any money. My donations would go directly to the candidate.
