Poll--WI Governor: Walker (R) 47% (+2) Barrett (D) 45% (+3)
Finally, there is some evidence that the dwindling number of undecided voters (7% of the electorate) could break toward Barrett. Sixty-four percent (64%) of undecideds are women (among whom Barrett holds a 5-point lead), 67% identify as liberals or moderates, and Democrats hold a 4-point party ID advantage.

This analysis represents the findings of a survey of 600 likely general election voters in Wisconsin who were interviewed by telephone October 18-20,2010. The study uses a registration based sample, screened for likely participation in the 2010 general election. The margin of error for this survey is +/-4.0% at the 95% level of confidence. The margin of error is higher for subgroups.

1. Barrett is a good man. Walker is
intemperate and extreme.

Go, Tom.

2. Come on Mr. Barrett...
I do not want this man to be governor. He touts his accomplishments about holding the line on taxes but neglects to inform the services he was trying to cut as well, such as our park system which he wanted to privatize.

to Milwaukee Co. were released instead of being hidden until after the election, I'm sure there would be a wider gap in the Mayor's favor.....

4. This is essentially an internal poll that doesn't seem to match other polling.
They had a poll in September claiming a closing three-point gap, while everyone else (including PPP) said that the race was widening (I think it was nine points). Now a race that everyone else still seems to think it a nine-poine race is too close to call?

It's spectacular news if true... possibly saving Faingold's bacon at the same time if the trend continues.

What's your read WI_Dem? Have things shifted this much in WI?
