Who is getting all this money that is being spent on campaigns??

Meg Whitman has spent over $140 million dollars of her own money! She really wants to fix California, but good.

Then we have the wrestling lady up in Connecticut that has spent a ton of her own money. And the Medicare-fraud person in Florida that is running for Governor has spent a fortune on his campaign.

Where does all this money go?

Does a large chunk of it go to the corporate media for the ads? Is the media the ones that are profiting from this political season. Yes, they are.

But that is one story that no one, not even Keith or Rachel, will address. Because it is taboo.

2. I have gotten more glossy campaign crap than ever before
Tons and tons of it over the past few weeks, glossy and on heavy weight paper.

I don't even look at them, what a stupid waste of money!!

4. But, someone had to print it
and someone had to bring it to your mail box. So there were workers involved and real jobs.

They create the buzz, and then they bank on it. They must keep the thugs alive, or no one will buy whatever it is they are selling.

8. There was a discussion on the radio last week about that &
the show host (I think t was Randi) said 99% is TV netweorks She even added that it sure the heck ist radio!!!

I know the other day my hubby said "I can't wait till this mess os over! I'm so sick of seeing all these screaming ads where in one ad the first guy yells about how bad his opponent is and then the next ad is his opponent yelling about how bad the first guy is." There are times I wonder if all this ad money is going to backfire on the Pubbies because it reahed the point where it simply turned people OFF!

11. The places that create the narratives.
The places that have a big financial interest in "keeping it close" to boost ratings and pushing right wingers into office to boost the bottom line: corporate media.
