15. Actually, you are both wrong.
You can't know for sure that it won't happen and Reuters can't know for sure that it will. Me, I'm out of the predictions game. I'll just wait until the election is over and see who wins.

Even if they wanted to.

vote and likely contest it (if it's a Dem win)I'm thinking they are scared and I think we've got it...but it'll be close...I think?

9. Is it beginning to sound like the Media are trying to push GOP Wins
too hard. Psst, could they really be in trouble and everyone
is working double time trying to convince the world the GOP is
going to win. Kinda like MeThinks thou doth protest too much.

Me thinks the Media doth sound as if convincing themselves.

12. They've been treating a GOP takeover as a done deal.
It's been like that for months now, and The Washington Post sometimes runs multiple articles on the tea party on the same day (lead story for both the magazine and section A this past weekend...).

I think so-called reporters have had a problem for a long time in blurring the lines between opinion pieces and feature stories.

20. It just helps to raise the expectations bar.
Who would have thought a few months ago that Republicans mightwin 45 seats and have some in the media call it underperforming?

1994 is starting to become the baseline assumption for many of these stories... rather than the high-end target.
