GOP Claims Democrats Trying to Steal the Election
GOP Claims Democrats Trying to Steal the Election

Republicans are ramping up their efforts to make the case that Democrats are trying to steal the midterm elections, despite little evidence to support such claims. The strategy appears designed to fire up the Republican base, potentially depress Democratic turnout and set the stage for possible legal challenges to Democratic victories.

1. Hmmm.... sounds like the tide is turning our way....

This is a dangerous game for the GOP to be playing. More than one Tea Party candidate has referred to "2nd Amendment Solutions" is the vote doesn't go their way.

2. Or...
They are aware that there will be machine and ballot irregularities and are seeding the soil to counter any message about them with the 'pox on both your houss' argument.

5. Guess they forgot who owns the voting machines...
Those silly GOPigs-- such short memories. Even if we wanted to steal the election, it's the Repugs via the voting machine manufacturers (who are all GOP backers) still have the power over the source codes on the machines most of us will be voting on so good luck with their accusation. The fact that they are however, must mean they are a bit less confident about their upcoming "landslide" so I guess that's a good thing.

6. We're trying to win the election.
They thought they could steal it while we weren't looking. Well, we're looking. And deciding that the Tea Party is organized idiocy.

10. How is that possible when everyone has them winning the House and us barely keeping the Senate.

Either they are trying to rally their base or they are projecting. I am more than annoyed by this move when nothing has suggested they have anything to worry about.

13. I hope it means that their own internals are showing tightening races
all over the country, so they're getting worried that the presumed republican "wave" won't make such a big splash. They're looking for a scapegoat--"voter fraud." Unfortunately, it could be just an attempt to whip-up the base to get out there and vote. Although that seems strange, since most of their base is already foaming at the mouth at the thought of getting back control of congress.

16. To what effect would a bag victory mean??? The candidates appear so naieve and ill prepared
and results may prove disastrous not only to our Nation but to the GOPer party...

They think the Nation will vote RED in 2012?? Not with the Baggers in there..

Too Far Right and Naziesque to boot...

17. What IS going on
They are setting the stage to cry to MSM and the Tea Party Racists when their predicted sweep does not happen.

They could very well fall short.30-35 seat gain In the House Instead of 47-70.Picking up 3-4 seats In the senate but also losing 1(Alaska) and falling short of netting 30 Governorships.
