1. This tracking poll has been all over the place
If this is correct, Sestak just might be able to pull this out.

5. because of the size of samples going in and out each day
with a four day rolling average and 450ish being the overall number each day, 75 or so are new each day, or out of the sample.

3. Muhlenberg's tracking polls have large swings like Gallup.
Edited on Fri Oct-29-10 10:55 PM by Dawson Leery
Those swings occur within a very short time.

6. I don't know...
I just have a feeling Sestak will go out into the lead at the last minute and win. Let's hope so.

9. Live in PA. Every poll I read is different. Depends if the majority of calls went to cities or
the middle red rural part. Sestak will take Philly and Pgh. It depends on how educated the rural areas are. I am a politics junkie but half my rural neighbors are good people but not real book smart..

11. Come on, Sestak!
He's up and Toomey is clearly trending down for weeks now.

12. John Prine, Paradise:

I always had a big crush on him.

Paradise, by John Prine
When I was a child my family would travel
Down to western kentucky where my parents were
born
And there’s a backwards old town that’s often
remembered
So many times that my memories are worn.

And daddy won’t you take me back to Muhlenberg
county
Down by the green river where paradise lay
Well, I’m sorry my son, but you’re too late in
asking
Mister peabody’s coal train has hauled it away

Well, sometimes we’d travel right down the green
river
To the abandoned old prison down by adrie hill
Where the air smelled like snakes and we’d shoot
with our pistols
But empty pop bottles was all we would kill.

Then the coal company came with the world’s
largest shovel
And they tortured the timber and stripped all the
land
Well, they dug for their coal till the land was
forsaken
Then they wrote it all down as the progress of
man.

When I die let my ashes float down the green
river
Let my soul roll on up to the rochester dam
I’ll be halfway to heaven with paradise waitin’
Just five miles away from wherever I am.

15. PA
I think he will win.The CNN/Time poll had him up among Registed voters. That was the mistake they made.If we get out to vote we can
keep Republican senate gains to 3,0r 4(Depending how Registed voters feel about Feingold In WI)

May I remind people here It did look like In 2002 we would do better than we did.My advice to Democrats IS Ignore these Likely
Voter polls and vote.

16. Local news in Pittsburgh just reported it at 46-44.

MOE = 3.5 They said it is tightening up!

Sestak was in Pittsburgh today. He has a reputation as a "strong closer".
