than beck's rally? In the crowd of course. At beck's rally msm was reporting how "white" it was other than the speakers and entertainers.
I know there got to be a few black people participating at the rally today.

3. That's okay, Angee.
I saw a few here and there, having fun with it, along with the really large number of young white kids there. I'm just a little disappointed that the MSM will not cover any of the Souls to the Polls rallies for early voting among blacks and Latinos this past week and weekend. Everyone of us is doing their part, except for the MSM, of course.

7. Those were the days
when I could not miss a step show during Howard's Homecoming.
It does matter because I bet the Hip Hop Caucus will be there - especially because of the homecoming - to make sure the kids vote!

5. There were tons of black people at the rally today...
And every other color and persuasion - a Muslim couple near me had a sign that read:

WHERE ARE THE MODERATE MUSLIMS?...with an arrow pointing down at them.

People kept stopping to be photographed with them.

A GREAT DAY!!

9. That is so cool. The signs were absolutely BRILLIANT!

I knew they would be but I'm still blown away and look forward to seeing more and more.

The signs and the "Love Train."

Awesomeness.

:bounce:

8. Here's my final attempt to keep this email circulating out to African-Americans
Edited on Sat Oct-30-10 10:18 PM by oswaldactedalone
This email has been circulating among African-Americans during October, and a modified version of it was just written about on the National Public Radio website. Feel free to copy and paste into an email and keep it circulating to help with the final push to GOTV.

----

WE MUST VOTE ON NOVEMBER 2nd AS IF OUR LIVES DEPEND UPON IT, BECAUSE THEY DO! Republicans have embraced dangerous radicals called the "Tea Party." They are led by Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, Rush
Limbaugh, and the owners of Republican supporting TV and radio stations. Their goal is to take down President Obama because they despise the good policies he's implemented which have helped middle-class families.

President Obama and Democrats have also tried to undo the chaos created by our previous President, but Republicans have fought him every step of the way. Are you willing to gamble on losing the Democratic leadership that is trying to make the country better for everyone, and not just the super-rich? We cannot let our leadership change or we could lose that gamble.

These Tea Party supporters, and many Republicans have deep-seated prejudices against blacks,
latinos, and other minority groups. More than anything, they despise President Obama and want desperately for him to fail as our President. If our President fails, we all fail.

Their rallying cry? "We want to take our country back!" Take it back from who and to when? The 1940s or 50s? American soil remains stained with the blood of our African-American brothers and sisters who
protested, fought, and some died to get us our right to vote. The want it take it back alright, take it backwards.

The polls say Republicans have an excellent chance of winning enough seats to take over the U. S. House of Representatives, possibly the U. S. Senate, and many Governorships because Democrats lack the enthusiasm to vote. WE MUST GET AS MANY, AND MORE, PEOPLE TO THE POLLS AS WE DID DURING THE 2008 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION!!

Don't leave voting to the other guy. Be sure to vote, and vote a straight Democratic ticket for your U. S. Senator, Congressman, Governor, and Democrats down the ballot. Like African drums calling out across America, reach as many people as you can!

VOTE NOVEMBER 2nd!

Please forward this E-mail to 15 or more people and keep it going!
