GOP Budget Ignores CBO To Claim Health Care Repeal Will Reduce The Deficit
TPM: GOP Budget Ignores CBO To Claim Health Care Repeal Will Reduce The Deficit

<...>

According to the GOP budget, repealing the health care law will reduce the deficit by $1.4 trillion by 2022. CBO, by contrast, holds that repealing the health law now will add well over $200 billion to the deficit over the same time frame.

<...>

At least $1.4 trillion of the $6 trillion is completely bogus, but facts and math aren't relevant to the GOP/media: Courageous! Best plan ever! $6 trillion!

Idiots!

1. I wonder what they think cutting the top tax rate to 25% for the rich
and businesses will do for the deficit? They lie.

2. All they care about is the number for PR purposes.
"Real Americans, we tried to cut the budget by $6 trillion, and the Dems stopped us with their tax and spend big government plans. Blah blah blah."

I'm honestly surprised they didn't just say $10 trillion. It's all bullshit anyway, history proves that Republicans never balance budgets.
