I wrote to the prez today and said exactly that.

This is part of what I wrote:

I'm on Medicare. If I had to pay 6000 more a year, or 500 more a month, I wouldn't be able to pay for that medical care. I receive more from SS than most people, & if I can't afford that, most others can't either. And, that my friend would be a Republican Death Panel!

I'm not relying on anyone else to get it done....

I'm not going to wake up one morning and ask,
what is it that I could have done.....?
cause whatever it is, I will have done it.

If I can make others feel as passionate about
what this Death Panel means to our future...
as passionate as they say they feel about issues,
and I can let them know that allowing this Death Panel to grow
unchecked, because folks are too busy waiting for the President
to get it done for us (with a GOP house, fat chance of that anyways),
perhaps enough will be moved to action that I assure you,
will make the difference.

the fact is that we could be the key to what we want
on many issues at this moment, and although it will be hard,
at the end of the day, it will be a matter of pulling the lever to banish the Death Panel...
or enough of them, so they pose no more serious threat to us as Americans,
(and don't even get me started on the threat they pose to the world as well).

It's a tall order, but what I know for sure is throwing rocks
at this President ain't gonna get rid of 'em...
So if we are going to throw rocks, I suggest we aim it directly
at the Death Panel aka, Republicans. Otherwise, we won't make it.
