In most gerrymandered districts, it didn't to any good...

And in many democrat districts (like mine) there were no Progressives to vote FOR...

When Obama trashed Dean's 50 state strategy, this is the direct result. It depresses turnout because progressives have no one to vote for! I agree that progressives probably turned out greater than teabaggers as evidenced by the decimation the Blue Dogs experienced.
