Can we please stop feeding the Donald Trump beast? Every thread of outrage posted on his latest 'revelation' only plays into his hands...

Let's keep in mind the big picture:

1. Trump is not, nor has he ever been a serious candidate for his party nomination, much less for president -- This stunt is just a combination cash grab/attention whore/promotion for his next reality show or whatever...

2. As I said a month ago, Trump needs the spotlight, and as long as people keep talking about him, the more insane his comments will get as the media lap it up -- By this time next week he'll be demanding 'evidence' that the President didn't come to Earth in a UFO or was cloned in a lab.

3. Nothing he says has to even be responded to, by DU or anyone else -- Especially when he is dredging up long-debunked smears from Summer 2008...I know it's too easy to ridicule him and point out how wrong he is on everything, but the moment you even start the back-and-forth with him and his enablers, he has already won...

Just some pennies for thought...Never forget the GOP playbook and recognize what bullshit topics they want to keep in the national discussion when they CAN'T RUN ON THE ISSUES.
