Yahoo feature: Obama spars with tp'er
http://news.yahoo.com/obama-spars-tea-party-activist-023527637.html

How does this exchange make you feel?

I am a socialist. By the political test that goes around here every once in a while, I am to the left of Gandhi. No apologies, just know that I often disagree with centrists.

However... I will vote and support the President this election. I will hold my nose. I will rant and rave and complain. Most of all I will be there to vote.

The video makes me want to hug a centrist... then slap him silly. LOL

1. It's Biden's fault... because of something he MIGHT have said... in a private conversation.

5. No...Biden was right
Biden was referring to the TeaParty/Republicans holding our economy hostage with their demands for cuts and no revenue.

2. "Janet napalitano called me a terrorist!". Um, no
Steady diet of free republic, beck, townhall, talk radio. They have created their own reality, and they want to impose it on the rest of us.

7. That guy was a ann a**knob that was lucky to not be dragged away.
I saw that interchange during the Town hall. Everyone else raised their hands -- this guy insisted on being disruptive --

I wish he wasn't given face time by POTUS, but if he didn't get his way -- then it would have been spun in the usual TeaBag way.

12. Well, Pres. Obama didn't call on him during the townhall like he wanted. You don't want to
reward that kind of asshole behavior but he did say he would talk to him afterward.

One thing the townhall showed was that the White House is certainly NOT screening people or questions (not that I ever thought they were - I think Pres. Obama likes taking all questions). The first question, which was from a woman, really encompassed a lot of the criticism of him from the left and then the teabagger was right up front also.

13. Agreed, Pirate.
He was equally assknobic when Obama talked to him in the greeting line. So was that other woman.

I loved when he said (paraphrase) 'You don't really want to listen'

The President was way nicer to her about that than he should've been.

10. Thats one of those times I wish the President could get away with calling someone incredibly stupid
...to their face. She didn't deserve to be treated with any regard once that craziness started flying out of her mouth.

11. From ADL:
http://www.adl.org/learn/ext_us/Ecoterrorism.asp?LEARN_Cat=Extremism&LEARN_SubCat=Extremism_in_America&xpicked=4&item=eco

Really? 90%?

That 90% compares to what the tp'ers think should happen to the world economy? They wanted a default. They got a downgrade. And you think the teabagger type of terrorism is nothing compared to environmental activists?

Environmental activists go to jail for their crimes. I get that. That is good. Criminals go to jail for their crimes. At least if you are an environmental activist. A teabagger politician or banker, traders? Not so much.

Who went to jail for playing gotcha with default? And who caused this economic devastation and how many of those criminals went to jail?
