Is there any way to tell if a post has been edited/updated/changed?

Is there any way to tell if, when or how many times a post has been edited or updated, please?

If so, is there any way to tell what it originally said?

1. If a post has been edited

there will be a bit of red text at the top of the post which says "Edited on {date and time} by {username}"

That text shows the last time that the post was edited, so you won't know if the post was edited previously. If you don't see that text, then the post has not been edited.

Currently there is no way to tell what an edited post originally said, but that is actually addressed in our new software version:
