Could DU implement the one post per rule on topics as in LBN?!?!?
It really becomes more than tiresome that there tends to be several threads about the same topic.

Couldn't these threads be combined like they are in LBN, with the first thread posted the #1 thread and ALL the others attached within it?!?!?

This seems to me to be a fair and reasonable solution to a big problem, especially when other threads sink so quickly because so many people think it is necessary to start their own threads about the same topic that has been started before they decided they needed to start a new one.

1. I'm not sure people would appreciate this.
At any given time, there are topics which are of particular interest to DUers, so it is natural that there would be lots of discussions about them.
